TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE

These Terms & Conditions of Sale apply to purchases made through the Maison Vintage online store. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, subject to any mandatory consumer rights applicable in your country of residence.

1. About Maison Vintage

Maison Vintage is an online art store offering curated Fine Art Prints.

2. Products

Maison Vintage offers Fine Art Prints produced from artworks selected and curated for the Maison Vintage collections.

Product descriptions, dimensions and available options are displayed on each product page.

Fine Art Prints are sold unframed unless expressly stated otherwise.

Frames, furniture, decorative objects and interiors shown in lifestyle photographs and mock-ups are for presentation and inspiration only and are not included with the artwork.

We make every reasonable effort to represent our artworks accurately. However, colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings, brightness, device calibration and the printing process.

3. Made-to-Order Production

Maison Vintage Fine Art Prints are produced after an order is placed.

Once your order has been confirmed, it is sent for professional printing, preparation and fulfilment.

Production may therefore begin shortly after your purchase.

4. Prices

Prices are displayed in the currency applicable to the market or region selected on the website where available.

The final price payable, including applicable taxes and shipping charges where relevant, will be displayed during checkout before you confirm your order.

For international purchases, currency conversions may be applied by Shopify, payment providers or financial institutions.

Any customs duties, import taxes or local charges that are not collected at checkout may remain the responsibility of the customer, subject to applicable law.

5. Orders

By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is complete and accurate.

After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation at the email address provided during checkout.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where permitted by law, including in cases of suspected fraud, obvious pricing or technical errors, product unavailability or circumstances that make fulfilment impossible.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, any amount due to you will be refunded.

6. Payment

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

Orders will only be processed once payment has been successfully authorised or completed.

Payment transactions are handled through the payment providers made available through our Shopify store. Maison Vintage does not directly store complete payment card details.

7. Production & Delivery

Each Fine Art Print requires a production period before dispatch.

Delivery times and shipping costs vary depending on the destination, artwork size and other fulfilment factors.

Any delivery estimates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you may have in relation to delivery under applicable consumer law.

8. Right of Withdrawal & Returns

Customers may have a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase, particularly within the European Union.

For eligible EU consumers, the statutory withdrawal period is generally 14 days from receipt of the goods, subject to applicable legal exceptions.

Nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory statutory consumer rights.

9. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Orders

If your artwork arrives damaged or defective, or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible at:

Please include your order number and clear photographs of both the artwork and its packaging.

We will review the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law.

10. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Maison Vintage website, branding, collection names, product presentation, text, graphics and other original content created for Maison Vintage are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Purchasing a Fine Art Print gives you ownership of the physical print only. It does not grant any right to reproduce, scan, copy, distribute, resell reproductions of, commercially exploit or otherwise use the artwork beyond the rights permitted by law.

11. Personal Information

Personal information collected in connection with your order is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection legislation.

12. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

Maison Vintage will not be responsible for losses resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

13. Governing Law & Consumer Rights

These Terms & Conditions are governed by French law.

If you are a consumer residing in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protections granted to you by the laws applicable in your country of residence.

Any dispute will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer-protection and jurisdiction rules.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our services, business practices or legal requirements.

The Terms applicable to your purchase are those in force when your order is placed, subject to applicable law.
